Who am I?

I am Nevena Pivač (born as Mitrović). I am a PhD student of Mathematical Sciences at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences at University of Primorska (UP FAMNIT). My PhD advisor is Associate Professor Martin Milanič. I am employed as a Young Researcher at the Institute Andrej Marušič, University of Primorska (UP IAM). I finished Master Studies of Mathematics in 2017 at FAMNIT. My topics of interest are graphs, structural and algorithmic graph theory, graph classes and optimization problems. I also have some experience in timetabling problems and integer linear programming. Among the things that are not connected with Math, I like crocheting and music. I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I speak few languages: Serbian, Slovenian, English, and a bit of German and Spanish as well.
